I have Vista 64 SP2 and Visual Studio 2008 SP1. Monday morning I got this error message when I try to start Visual Studio. MSDN recommends reinstalling Visual Studio.
Luckily the technical support guy reminded to reboot the computer first. The problem goes away.

Reinstall, reboot, so similar in scope and trouble! Oh well, no worries then!
Or to put it another way, AAAAHHHHh!!!
Did I mention that Mac OS X doesn't have a license check built into it?
Mac OS X doesn't have a license check? Cool. Can I buy a copy of Max OS X and install it on my own Intel machine? I really don't need a whole new computer.
